Winter art classes start this week

All San Benito County Arts Council Youth and Adult Art Classes are taught by professional teaching artists and continue in month long sessions. All classes begin the week of Jan. 7 unless otherwise noted. Winter classes include:

Youth Art Studio 1 & 2 (ages 5-7 & 8-13) with Stephanie Skow, weekly Mondays, starting at 4:00 PM & 5:00 PM 3D Sculpture (ages 8-16) with Dustin Kinsley, weekly Tuesdays, 5:00 PM

Drawing Fundamentals (ages 11+) with John Robrock, weekly Wednesdays, 4:00 PM   Writers’ Lab (ages 16+) with Amanda Chiado, weekly Wednesdays, 5:30 PM   Youth Ceramics (ages 8-16) with Stephanie Skow, weekly Thursdays, 4:30 PM   Aztec Dancing (all ages) with Calpulli Itzpapalotl Danza Azteca, weekly Wednesdays, 7:30 PM

Tai Chi (ages 16+) with Richard Ahrens, weekly Tuesdays, 7:00 PM & 8:00 PM, and Saturdays at 9:30 AM

Community Art Classes are presented by the San Benito County Arts Council as part of their Community Art Education Program and are made possible with the support of the California Arts Council, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, United Way and Monterey Peninsula Foundation.

The Arts Council’s Enroll a Friend for Free Promotion is applicable for all January Youth Art Classes and does not include Tai Chi and Aztec Dancing.
