Double Road Race in San Juan

Wreaths Across America
The annual Wreaths Across America event put on by the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce is set for 9 a.m. Saturday at Cavalry Cemetery. There will be a separate laying at the San Juan Bautista cemetery at noon as well. Wreaths are laid for late veterans, and it’s an annual, nationwide tribute. The Nutcracker
The San Benito Dance Academy will present its 11th annual performance of The Nutracker this weekend. The shows are set for 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Sherwood Hall in Salinas. For more: https://www.sanbenitodanceacademy.com/the-nutcracker-1.html
Caroling in the Courtyard

Oriana Chorale shows
The San Benito Oriana Chorale performed its first of three “Season of Light” Christmas shows Tuesday night at Old Mission San Juan Bautista. The two remaining shows are set for Friday and Sunday. The Friday show is 7:30 p.m. at St. Benedict Church, 1200 Fairview Road. The Sunday show is set for 3 p.m. at Christ Fellowship Church, 2066 San Benito St. Tickets are $15 in advance from Postal Graphics or $20 at the door. They are $10 for students.

La Virgen del Tepeyac
The show is playing at El Teatro Campesino, 406 Second St., at 8 p.m. Friday, 8 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday. El Teatro calls it “a joyful reenactment of the four apparitions of our Lady of Guadalupe to Juan Diego on the hill of Tepeyac in 1531.” It is acted out in Spanish.
Growing Hearts Wine & Wreath Event
The event is set for 1 p.m. Sunday at Fisher’s Restaurant & Catering, 650 San Benito St. According to Fisher’s: Join us on the patio at Fisher’s in beautiful downtown Hollister for our Growing Hearts 1st Annual Christmas Wine and Wreaths Event!
