A suspect from a November sheriff’s office arrest who is accused of possessing converted weapons and drugs faces his preliminary examination Friday.
Sean M. Daudet, 34, is scheduled for a hearing at 1:30 p.m. Friday when Judge Steven Sanders will decide if there’s enough evidence for a jury trial.
The San Benito County arrested the suspect on suspicion of holding a converted assault rifle and drugs. The D.A. later charged him alleging felony drug and gun charges, along with a misdemeanor for fleeing officers.
The sheriff’s office made the following announcement on Thanksgiving weekend.
Sean Daudet , age 34, was arrested after a weeks-long investigation. He was found to be in possession of “converted weapons,” along with an AR-15 assault rifle, and illegal narcotics.
