San Benito Stage Company, the local community theater organization, will end its run at the Granada Theater on Saturday, Jan. 12.
The organization will be hosting its last event there, its Annual Awards Show.
“Our lease at the Granada is up, so we wanted to host our Members Choice Show as a way to celebrate our last season with our members, actors, and community members,” said SBSC Board Member Derek Barnes.
The event, which is free to anyone, will start with light desserts at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m. The show will celebrate the best of 2018, discuss the line up for 2019, and discuss SBSC new marketing approach.
Barnes wants to assure the community that SBSC has a plan in place for 2019 and beyond to keep the organization going.
“We have secured a number of venues in Hollister to help us continue putting on quality shows and events.”
SBSC hopes anyone that has ever been in, worked on or watched an SBSC show at the Granada stops by for this great event.
