The Caltrans Salinas North Maintenance team will perform pavement maintenance and sweeping on U.S. Highway 101 in the Prunedale area next week in the following locations:
- The northbound #1 (left) lane of U.S. Highway 101 at Sala Road will be closed on Monday, Oct. 29 from 9 am until 1 pm for surface grinding.
- The northbound #2 (right) lane of US Highway 101 at Sala Road will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 9 am until 1 pm for surface grinding.
- Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 20 minutes each day.
- Caltrans will conduct a moving sweeping operation in the No. 1 (left) lane of US Highway 101 in both directions between Boronda Road and the US Highway 101/State Route 156 Interchange on Wednesday, Oct. 31 and Thursday, Nov. 1 between 9 am and 2 pm. The CHP will be present to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Electronic message boards will be activated to inform the public about this work.
