The San Benito County Sheriff’s Office took a theft report back in 2014 from a local farming company. Listed in the items taken was a trailer used to load irrigation pipe.
On Nov. 8, detectives were following up on investigative leads in the San Benito County River near the Nash Road bridge and located the trailer. The trailer was still in usable condition. Our detective was able to use the serial number on the trailer to identify the owner. The owner was then able to respond and recover the trailer.
