SBHS to allow sports workouts starting next week

Courtesy of San Benito High School:

The San Benito County Public Health Department has notified San Benito High School that athletic conditioning and workouts may resume with a 12 to 1 student/coach ratio on Monday, June 22 at SBHSD outdoor athletic facilities.

The attached letter contains the guidelines that must be followed to ensure the safety of student-athletes and staff. Also attached is the document that parents must sign in order for their student to participate.

Students must submit this form to their cohort coach upon screening into the first conditioning session for their sport. This form will also be available on the SBHS Athletics website.

The attached slides provide information on what student-athletes can and should do regarding paperwork for the upcoming season, offer a list of coach contacts for Fall sports (students should contact coaches to get on lists), information about Cheer (which now expects to have tryouts in July), and provides contact info for Athletics Clerk Becky Doty.
