San Benito High School Supervisor of Security Mercedes Berglund on Friday was presented with the Key To Student Success Award by San Benito County Superintendent of Schools Krystal Lomanto.
Berglund, a longtime employee of the school, was called a “true Baler watcher” by Lomanto, who presented the award on the steps of the main administration building with campus supervisors, counselors and administrators present.
The San Benito County Office of Education is presenting the “SBCOE Key to Student Success” awards again this year. Each district superintendent selects the employee and the SBCOE visits the school to surprise the employee.
