Circle of Friends is sponsoring Disability Awareness Week on campus from Monday, May 7 through Friday, May 11. Scheduled events include an advisor acknowledgement, freeze dance and other field activities Monday; staff and teacher awards and a tug of war between staff and students on Tuesday; Outstanding Friend and Friend of the Month Awards on Wednesday; a Gifted Soccer game, recognition of organizer Mariana Magana and receipt of the Unified Champion School banner from the Special Olympics on Thursday; and recognition of seniors, announcement of new officers and Life Skills Prom on Friday.
