SBHS continues efforts for distance learning

Information courtesy of San Benito High School:

San Benito High School on Wednesday began the checkout of Chromebooks to students who have indicated through a survey that they need the device for distance learning during the ongoing school closure.

Students and families will be notified by phone, text and email through Aeries Communicator when it is their time to pick up a Chromebook on campus.

With students required to stay home through April 3, teachers are working on lesson plans for students to complete at home and enrichment activities for the week of March 30-April 3. In order to prepare for your child’s remote learning opportunities, it is important for SBHSD to determine which students do not have access to the internet at home and which students might need to borrow a Chromebook that can be used for at-home study. Please complete this survey for each SBHS student to help us determine your technology needs at home during this period.

Go here to complete the survey.

While students are home, San Benito High School teachers are preparing for distance learning opportunities through the extended school closure.

If you have access to the Internet, your student can access their Google Classroom account for review work and/or visit the following websites for enrichment:
