San Juan Bautista council members Tuesday will review and make recommendations on the 2019-20 budget.
That proposed budget from Interim City Manager Ed Tewes totals about $1.685 million with an expected end balance of over $2.9 million, which is a hefty reserve amount relative to the annual budget.
The council will consider such questions Tuesday as whether to take on special projects, capital improvements, staffing levels, pay raises and support for community organizations.
