Recent project accomplishments include:

  1. Buildings B, C and D: steel structure complete, roof structure, fire sprinkler system installed, and ducting overhead.
  2. Building E East: foundation complete and steel construction to begin.
  3. Buildings E West: foundation construction complete.
  4. Site work: Storm drains are 90% complete.
  5. Utility trench and install is under construction.

Superintendent Ochoa has been working closely with Mr. Buzzetta throughout the process. Ochoa said, “I really believe in the quality of the work being completed on-site. Residents in our community should drive out to Fairview Road and see the school taking shape.”

Funding for the school has been secured by the school district through a combination of Bond measure funds and developer fees. Rancho Santana School will be a two-story school that consists of an administration building, library/media center, thirty-five classrooms, a playground, ball courts, and turf fields. The district’s Director of Facilities, Aaron Buzzetta, has taken the lead role in monitoring the school construction project. Buzzetta said, “Now that we’ve completed our foundation work, the project is ready to take vertical shape. We’ll start to build up and out.”
