Rain in extended forecast for Thanksgiving weekend

It looks like the first rain storms of the season are headed toward San Benito County next week right around the Thanksgiving holiday.

The extended forecast for the area shows rain in the forecast starting Wednesday of next week and possible through the Thanksgiving weekend.

That’s good news on one hand since there has been very little precipitation for the Central Coast region of California to this point of the wet season, but bad news if you’re looking for nice weather over the holiday weekend.

Expect cool temperatures next weekend as well. Highs are forecast in the upper 50s for the holiday weekend.

Weather.com actually shows the possibility for rain starting next Wednesday and lasting all the way into mid-week the following week – or two weeks from now.
