The Hollister Police Department would like to advise the public that a construction crew broke a 2-inch natural gas line at the corner of Jan Avenue and Chaparral Court.
The Hollister Fire Department and the Hollister Police Department have evacuated residents on Chaparral Court. Residents in the area can go to the evacuation center at the Veterans Memorial Building.
Please be advised to stay clear of the area. PG&E crews are on their way and repair time is about three hours.
