San Benito High School Advanced Art students on May 30 hosted an Awareness Campaign Event covering a variety of topics, including addiction, adoption, aiding the Middle East, animal abuse, bullying, cancer, child abuse, disappearance of Native American women, discrimination, distracted driving, endangered species, flaws in the education system, global warming, homelessness, human trafficking, LGBT issues, lonely childhood, population growth, teen stress and suicide, and teen vaping.
The event took place in the VAPA and World Languages campus on Nash Road.
Refreshments were served by the Baler STRONG Coffee Company and culinary students provided cookies. There were also special performances by Heather Nichols’ dance students.
