San Benito High School teachers, counselors and administrators each week recognize students as Baler STRONG Students of the Week. STRONG is an acronym for Scholarship, Teamwork, Reflection, Opportunity, Nurture and Growth, representing the core values of San Benito High School. Each student earning recognition is presented with a certificate signifying the honor. Here are the recipients for week of Nov. 4-8:

The Administration-Student Services Department nominated two students for Growth: freshman Angel Benavides and senior Denitza Sanchez. The nomination for Angel states, “Angel set a goal to improve in several areas of school, and in a short time has demonstrated growth in each of those areas. We are proud of his commitment and follow through.” Denitza’s nomination said she “is working hard and spearheading the effort on a challenging project. She is showing tremendous growth within her leadership.”

The Leadership Department nominated two Seniors: Vanessa Ramirez for Growth and Noah Stein for Teamwork. Vanessa’s nomination said she “has grown so much over the last two years and I am so proud of her excellent work as Rally Club president.” Noah, according to his nomination, “has offered to help with the Link Crew Tailgate and participated in Homecoming. He is kind and friendly and an excellent team player.”
