Meet Alfie the dog in the latest segment of Pet of the Week from Pet Friends of Hollister. He’s a really nice dog, but he’s a bit on the wily side. Watch the video segment on Alfie or read about him below.
Kathy Putoff from Pet Friends of Hollister said the dog had to be surrendered by his owner because he kept getting out. She said Alfie just needs some training and attention and called him a “good boy.”
She thinks Alfie is under 1 year old and that he’s mostly lab with another possible mix.
“He’s very interested in the cats,” Puthoff said. “I’m not sure he’s a good cat dog.”
But she called him “really sweet” as well.
“He just wants attention but he doesn’t know how to ask nicely,” she said.
