Obituary: Stanley Sharp (1927-2019)

Stanley K. Sharp passed away at his Paicines home at the age of 91. He was born in Fresno, CA and lived in San Benito County for 60 years having worked in cattle and for Granite Construction. He married his wife, Jeanette, in 1947 in Carmel, CA. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Cattlemen’s Association, Saddle Horse Association, the Farm Bureau and served in the United States Coast Guard during WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette of Paicines, his children, Shari Hutchison (Hutch) of Hollister, Buck Sharp (Mary) of Lompoc and Sue Peralta (Al) of Hollister, his grandchildren, Stacey Schmidt, Carrie Monteon, Alan Bacon, Keegan White, David Sharp, Randy Hutchison, Sherri Parsons and Bill Hutchison and his great grandchildren, Tristan Schmidt, Shaylynn Monteon, Jack, Julia and James Bacon, Laura, Nola and Zoey White, Jacob Lierly, Cole and McKenzie Parsons, Nathaniel Hutchison, Dominic and Logan Galu and Austin Hutchison and one great great grandchild, London Lierly.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:30 AM Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Rist of Brushed Up Ministries will officiate. Military rites will be offered by VFW Post 9242.
Cremation will be followed by private family inurnment.
