Lorenza (Lori) Villagómez passed away Thursday February 21, 2019 in Gilroy at the age of 57. She was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Lorenza lived in Hollister for the last 50 years.

She is survived by her husband, Raul Villagómez, and her three daughters, Lorena, Liliana, and Lysandra. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Eusebio Jr and Mia Olivia Rojas, Alianna Avery and Jackson Orta. Lorenza also has two sisters: Ana Maria Alfaro and Concepción Gonzalez and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Lori worked as a cashier at K&S Market and Safeway for over 23 years. You would have easily recognized her by her friendly smile and decorative attire, as she enjoyed celebrating every holiday and occasion with color, glitter, and pizzazz. This enthusiastic woman loved anything that had to do with music, you could catch her on any dance floor being the life of the party. Lori was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother, she adored and enjoyed every moment with her family especially her grandchildren.

The viewing service will be on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 9:00 AM to 1 PM at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Mass service to follow at Sacred Heart Church at 1:00 PM. Celebration of Life will follow, location to be determined. Lorenza’s ashes will rest at Calvary Cemetery.
