Eliseo Castillo passed away in Hollister, California on May 12, 2018. Eliseo was born in Westmoreland CA. on Dec.23 1933, He lived in Hollister for more than 60 yrs. He worked for Tri Valley Growers for 33 yrs. as a forklift mechanic and had a rod iron business for 20 yrs. Much of his work can be seen in many homes in Hollister. Most of all he was a minister and pastor of the Church of God for 23 years and the Prince of Peace for 15 yrs. He loved His family and would do anything for anyone who needed his help. OH, and his favorite TV show was the Three Stooges. Eliseo is survived by his children: Esther Chavez/Arturo, Ernie Castillo/Debbie, Nancy Leon, Stevie Castillo/Carol, Tom Castillo/Brenda, Cathy Zarazua/Johnathon and his sister and her husband, Mickie Luna and Vince of Hollister, 18 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Amelia Castillo and daughter Susie Palafox.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at The Church of God with services at 7:00 PM at The Church of God, 1001 Nash Road, Hollister
There will be a service on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at the IOOF Cemetery. Military rites will be provided by VFW Post 9242.
