Obituary: Stacey M. Acosta (1963-2018)

Stacey passed away peacefully in Monterey, California on October 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Hollister, California and was currently residing there at the time of her death. Stacey worked for Specialized Bicycle Components in Morgan Hill for over 30 years and had made many friends whom she considered family. She enjoyed bicycling and running marathons, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who brought her great joy. Each one of them was the apple of her eye. She had a kind and generous heart, often helping those in need. With great joy she provided food, drinks and supplies to the homeless; even doing so while she was battling her illness.
Stacey touched many lives and will be dearly missed. She left us with so many great memories.
Stacey is survived by her two daughters, Natalie Levario (Alfredo) and Nicole Levario (Eloy Melgoza); grandchildren: Madison, Matthew, Dominic, Camden, Myles and Luca. She is also survived by her mother Dolores Acosta; siblings: Julie Farmer (Bob), Raul Acosta Jr., Michelle Goodwin (Jeff), Amando and Alexandra Acosta; nieces Gocelyn Acosta and Melissa Goodwin; nephews Adam Acosta and Justin Goodwin; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Stacey was preceded in death by the love of her life, Jesse Levario, her father Raul Acosta Sr. and granddaughter Maya.
A memorial service will be held at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home on Friday, November 9th at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at Paine’s Restaurant.
