Music in the Park takes locals over the ‘Moondance’

David Huboi and the Architecturals put their signature on another public show in Hollister. And another band took locals over the moon.

The ever-personable Huboi and his bandmates were among the featured acts at the latest Music in the Park event in Hollister, the periodic public shows put on in local parks and hosted by the San Benito Arts Council, along with a local music shop and its icon owner Joe Ostenson, otherwise known as Mr. O.

The free event was Oct. 29, 2016. Huboi and the Architecturals played at 1 p.m., with Moondance featuring Rick Haggett at 2 p.m. in Dunne Park near downtown Hollister.

Each summer, the San Benito Arts Council hosts the series of performances called Music in the Park.

Look back for information on future Music in the Park events, as well as other activities put on by the arts council.
