Maze Middle School has new interim assistant principal

The Hollister School District and Marguerite Maze Middle School are excited to announce that Primavera Cabibi is expected to be approved as the school’s Interim Assistant Principal, effective January 4, 2021.  Mrs. Cabibi has been an educator for over 10 years.  Mrs. Cabibi comes with experience in curriculum and instruction, instructional coaching, EL Achieve leadership, English Language Development, and Positive Behavior Interventions and Support.  Superintendent Diego Ochoa said, “I am excited for the students and staff at Maze Middle School. WIth Principal Diana Herbst as a mentor, Primavera will do an outstanding job!”

Primavera was born and raised in San Benito County, where she currently resides.  Mrs. Cabibi is a 1991 graduate of Gilroy High School and graduated from National University in 2012 with her Bachelors in education and in 2013 earned her Masters in education.  Mrs. Cabibi stated, “ It is my honor and pleasure to serve our students and families in this new role.  I am grateful to be working with such a fabulous group of caring, dedicated educators and student advocates in this unique time.  I look forward to working in collaboration with our school district to ensure that all of our stakeholders continue to receive an equitable and high quality  education here at Marguerite Maze.”
