The San Benito County League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is set to honor local veterans at the annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Nov. 11 at the Hollister Community Center, 300 West Street in Hollister.

The breakfast event starts at 7 a.m. and goes until noon.

Local veterans will receive a free breakfast while LULAC recognizes US Army Vietnam  Veterans from Hollister Jim Gibson, Adam Mendolla, and Ralph Marquez from San Juan Bautista.

The honorees will be presented with recognitions from Congressman Jimmy Panetta, Senator Anna Caballero, LULAC President Richard Perez, and LULAC Veterans Committee Chair Vince Luna.

LULAC is humbled by the bravery and courage of the veterans in our community and in our country. Every year when we celebrate Veterans’ Day on Nov. 11, we are reminded to thank our family, friends, and community members. Our veterans and their families have made many sacrifices to keep our country safe. We strongly encourage everyone to think of our veterans not only on Veterans’ Day, but year-round.
