The Hollister Downtown Association is proud to sponsor its 28th Annual Lights On Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 24.

Residents are invited to this wonderful family-friendly community day-long event that brings up to 10,000 people to downtown.  This year’s parade theme is “Through the Eyes of a Child” and will be led by Jaime the Elf.

The celebration begins with the Decorate-A-Tree Contest at Veterans’ Plaza from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., a car display on Seventh Street featuring our 2018 Street Festival & Car Show’s Best Car Club winners, Central Coast Muscle Cars and Classics, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a Holiday Food Court on Seventh and San Benito Streets. Local community entertainment will take place in two locations along San Benito Street from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the famous twinkling light parade, presented by PG&E, will step off promptly at 5:30 pm. Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus will take place at Veterans’ Plaza immediately following the parade. As always, attendance and parking are free.

For parade, vendor or sponsor applications as well as a full list of the day’s events, please visit the HDA web site: http://www.downtownhollister.org/lightson.php
