Ladd Lane Kindness Ambassador creates firefighter service project

Courtesy of the Hollister School District:

The Hollister School District is extremely proud of the leadership shown by Ladd Lane Elementary School Kindness Ambassador, Piper Sullivan. Piper recently started a service project to show our collective appreciation of the firefighters in our community and other surrounding communities.

Through a virtual meeting, Piper invited the students at Ladd Lane to write cards and make signs for our local Firefighters. This idea came to her when she realized that all of our local firefighters were helping with the surrounding fires in neighboring communities. When asked why she chose to do this project, Piper said “I would like to support the firefighters that are working really hard to fight fires.”

Piper collected all of the cards and delivered them to the fire station just days ago.  Piper was hoping to greet the firefighters but they were very busy fighting fires. Piper joined the LL Kindness Club as a Kindergartener and now she is in second grade. She has evolved as a leader in the Kindness Club and continues to inspire her Ladd Lane community.

Thank you to all of the firefighters!
