Want to see a report card on your child’s school? State law requires all public schools receiving state funding to prepare and distribute a School Accountability Report Card (SARC), according to the Hollister School District. The purpose of the report card is to provide parents and the community with important information about each public school. They must be published there by Feb. 1 each year.
Attached here are the report cards for all the schools in the Hollister School District. Among the findings, the Accelerated Achievement Academy performed especially well, with 98 percent of all students proficient or advanced in science, 97 percent in English and 85 percent in math.
Among the poorer performances, R.O. Hardin School had just 16.8 percent of all students proficient or advanced in science, along with 30 percent in math and 33 percent in English.
As for other schools, they scored as follows:
Gabilan Hills: 28 percent proficient or advanced in science; 46 percent in English and 36 percent in math.
Cerra Vista: 59 percent proficient or advanced in science, 52 percent in language arts and 43 percent in math.
Sunnyslope: 48 percent in science, 39 percent in language arts and 29 percent in math.
Calaveras: 26 percent in science, 35 percent in language arts and 29 percent in math.
Cerra Vista: 59 percent in science, 52 percent in language arts and 43 percent in math.
HDLA: 75 percent in science, 67 percent in language arts and 42 percent in math.
Ladd Lane: 60 percent in science, 57 percent in language arts and 41 percent in math.
Rancho San Justo: 65 percent in science, 42 percent in language arts and 29 percent in math.
RO Hardin: 17 percent advanced or proficient in science, 33 percent in language arts and 30 percent in math.
Maze: 64 percent in science, 44 percent in language arts and 28 percent in math.
