Hollister police allege three juveniles had stolen property

Hollister police arrested three juveniles on suspicion of possessing stolen property taken from various streets near Clearview Drive and Valley View Road.
According to police:
On April 5, 2018, Hollister Police Officers arrested three juveniles for having stolen property.
On Thursday night, Hollister police received a report of three juveniles looking into vehicles in the area of Valley View Road and Westward Drive. Officer Yerena searched the area and located one of the juveniles. As Officer Yerena was contacting the juvenile, he observed two other juveniles walking away from his location. All three juveniles matched the description provided by a witness.
The other two juveniles were soon located hiding in the backyard of a nearby residence. All three juveniles were in possession of stolen property and were arrested.
During the course of the investigation, officers were able to locate four victims related to the theft spree. The victims’ residences are located on El Torro drive, Clearview Drive, and El Cerro Drive. Officers were able to return some of the stolen property but were unable to identify all the owners. The rest of the items were booked into evidence.
The juveniles were booked on the charges of possession of stolen property, petty theft, possession of a controlled substance, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.
