The Hollister School District would like to honor the selfless employees who work in the district’s Nutrition Services Department for their outstanding work. The district, which educates nearly 6,000 children daily, has implemented a highly successful school breakfast and lunch program.

“At times like this I am reminded that achieving our mission is possible because our employees care deeply about children,” Superintendent Diego Ovhoa said. “These essential employees deserve the admiration and respect of the Hollister community.”

The program, which serves 2,500 breakfasts and 2,500 lunches each day, is transitioning to a “Monday MealDay” configuration. Families will be asked to visit school sites from 9am – 1pm on Mondays to receive their school lunch. Students must be present to receive the meals.

The district will continue with Monday MealDay through June 11, 2020. For more information, please contact Superintendent Diego Ochoa at [email protected].
