Hollister City Council members will hold special meetings Thursday and Friday to go over the proposed 2018-19 and 2019-20 budget cycles.
The meeting are set for 5 p.m. both days at Hollister City Hall, 375 Fifth St.
On the agenda is a review and quarterly presentation to the council for the 2018-19 budget, which runs through June 30.
Additionally, council members will go over the proposed budgets for the next two years at the same special meeting.
More specifically, council members will discuss the Management Services Department that includes streets, parks, fleet, utilities, solid waste and airport divisions; the Administrative Services Department that includes non-departmental divisions, human resources and finance; the Development Services Department that includes engineering, planning, building, the Briggs Building and the redevelopment agency successor agency; the police department, including animal control; the fire department, including code enforcement; and budgets for the council, city clerk, treasurer, city manager, information technology and recreation.
