Candidates for Hollister mayor and Hollister City Council seats were required to submit their final campaign finance documents Thursday before the Nov. 6 election.
The documents, called Form 460s, detail campaign committees’ donations and expenditures. The latest period was from Sept. 23-Oct. 20, while the forms also include total donation and expenditure figures for the entire year through Oct. 20.
In the mayor’s race, challenger Gordon Machado listed $18,098 in contributions. The vast majority of those were the $99 donations that do not require disclosure of the donor, while Machado said he had also received a $1,000 donation Friday that will be listed in upcoming filing documents.
