The Community Emergency Response Team in San Benito County announced upcoming classes for April that cover disaster preparedness and basic emergency response skills.
The free classes are set for April 7, 14 and 21, and all sessions will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. with a break for lunch.
They will be at the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office conference room, 2301 Technology Drive, Hollister.
Course topics include disaster preparedness, fire safety, disaster medical operations, light search and rescue, CERT organization/disaster psychology, terrorism and disaster simulation.
