Irma Gonzalez has taken a lead after the latest results released by the elections office Tuesday night, but there are more ballots to count.
Jeanie Wallace had a big lead in her race, while Gonzalez was ahead slightly over Michael Alcorn, in races for the Gavilan College Board after initial results came out Tuesday night.
Wallace is running against Richard Perez, while Gonzalez is facing Alcorn and Jason Hopkins, who has said he no longer wants the seat.
Wallace had 60.8% of the vote to 39.2% for Perez, while Gonzalez had 42.08% to 40.84% for Alcorn. They are separated by 58 votes.
The two seats are for Districts 5 and 7 to represent areas in San Benito County.
