Challenger Jim Gillio is headed toward a landslide victory over incumbent Jerry Muenzer in the race for the District 4 seat on the San Benito County Board of Supervisors.
Gillio had 74.38% of the vote to 25.62% for Muenzer after initial results came out after 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Gillio is owner of Central Ag Supply and a Hollister City Councilman. Muenzer is seeking his third four-year term on the board representing District 4, which includes southeast Hollister and south county.
