A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was followed by a 3.0 quake in the San Juan Bautista area Wednesday.
The initial earthquake came with a significant jolt and not much to follow. The second temblor was barely felt.
The quakes occurred at 12:26 p.m. and 12:48 p.m. They were centered three miles south of San Juan.
