The San Benito County Elections Office is helping residents get registered to vote from 1-7 p.m. in front of the library.
It’s part of National Voter Registration Day. To mark the day, the elections office has staff in the alleyway between the two county buildings assisting local residents with their registration.
The next election is the primary in March 2020, with the general election the following November.
The elections office will be in the lawn area near the San Benito County Free Library.
“We’re going to be helping the community register or re-register, or any questions they may have, we are there to answer,” said Sheyla Funes-Gonzalez with the elections office during Tuesday’s county board meeting.
