County Express launches mobile payment app

San Benito County Express is excited to announce the launch of a new mobile payment app for its bus service, making ticket purchases more user-friendly and convenient for its riders.

Customers may now pay for bus rides using the new County Express mobile fare app. – Token Transit. Token Transit is a free app that allows riders to purchase their bus fares on their smart phones using a credit or debit card. The app displays a digital pass on the phone’s screen, eliminating the need for a token, bus pass, or exact change. To learn how Token Transit works, customers can watch a video that goes over the basic of how to use app. All bus passes and fares will still remain available for cash or check purchase at the County Express office during normal hours of operation.

Many riders have expressed interest in paying for their bus rides through an online app. Through our partnership with Token Transit, this is now possible! Token Transit app will make riding the bus more convenient. We encourage all customers to give it a try. New users will receive a 50 percent discount off their first purchase.
