Controlled burn reported in south San Benito County

Calfire reported there is a prescribed burn in south San Benito County that could be causing some visible smoke in the skies.

The controlled burn is at the Rock Springs Ranch off Old Hernandez Road in the Paicines area.

It is six acres total, with two three-acre burns involved, and is expected to last until about 4 p.m.

Calfire reported having three engines, a bulldozer and battalion chief on scene.
