Hollister Recreation Supervisor Tina Garza sent out a reminder that this Saturday, Jan. 12, there will be another community planning meeting for a potential park near Fire Station 2 through Prop 68 funding.
She said the meeting will begin at 11:30 am. In addition, staff will provide information for a proposed facility at the Leatherback property beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Garza noted that for the meeting in December, there was a lot of public input which allowed staff to meet and discuss the communities vision then research cost associated to amenities requested. At the meeting on Saturday, staff members hope to continue the conversation about a potential park at Fire Station 2 and would like community input on the Leatherback Property.
