Hollister City Council members Monday approved a subdivision agreement for a mixed-use development on Cushman Street that will include a mix of single-family homes, apartments and townhomes.
The item was approved 4-0 with Councilman Karson Klauer recusing himself.
The agreement was for the Los Pinars Subdivision, a conditionally approved residential development consisting of 15 lots for single family residential, 26 lots for townhomes, one lot for 44 apartment units, and one lot for road/common space area. The agreement includes the improvement of associated infrastructure requirements, according to the city council agenda.
The development is located 1603 Cushman St. The interior paved road of the development is private and includes sidewalk, curb and gutter, and stormwater facilities, according to the city agenda. Public infrastructures within the development include water and sewer, which will be constructed within a public utilities easement.
The Tentative Map was reviewed during a public hearing at the Hollister Planning Commission on May 25 and was approved. There were no appeals by either the applicant, or other interested parties.
