In conjunction with National Teen Driver Safety Week, (10/20 – 10/26), the Hollister-Gilroy Area office of the California Highway Patrol is holding a FREE parent/teen safe driving workshop in Gilroy on Oct. 23 developed by Impact Teen Drivers called, “What do you consider lethal?”
Car crashes involving reckless and or distracted driving continues to be the number ONE killer of teens in America. This hour and a half long workshop focuses on raising awareness to the problem and provides strategies for teens and parents alike to help keep them safe when driving a vehicle or riding as a passenger in one.

WHAT: Special presentation by affected family member Mr. Christopher Salcido. Mr. Salcido lost his daughter in a reckless and distracted driving crash here in Gilroy in 2015.
