It’ll be a nice weekend to get out and enjoy what San Benito County has to offer, with sunshine and temperatures in the low to mid-80s. The following are some of the fun, exciting activities happening in San Benito County this weekend:
Dance at Dunne: Come to these free dance events put on by the San Benito County Arts Council. They are 5:30 p.m. every Friday at Dunne Park and for all ages.
“My Fair Lady”: The San Benito Stage Company presents the musical at the Granada Theatre at 7 p.m. Friday, 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. For more on the show, go to http://sanbenitostage.org/.
Street Festival & Car Show: The Hollister Downtown Association is proud of this year’s Street Festival and Car Show with a full day of fun in the sun for the whole family including: more than 200 classic vehicles on display, two stages of live entertainment and music, free admission and parking, free watermelon, lots of fabulous vendors, a kids zone and more.
Art of Eating: The San Benito County Arts Council proudly presents The Art of Eating: A Farm-to-Table Benefit for the Arts with local chefs, Mike Fisher of Fisher’s and Becky Herbert of Farmhouse Cafe, from 5-8 pm on Sunday, July 22nd at the Herbert Family Organic Farm. This 4-course open air dinner will feature gourmet food from local producers, wine from Aroma Cellars, live music and great company in the beautiful surroundings of the Herbert Family Farm. All proceeds from this event benefit art programs throughout San Benito County. Guests are encouraged to bring their own artistic plates! Parking is available at no charge/open seating.
