The San Benito County Arts Council is excited to present “Cooking with Fish!” — a new culinary art series with local chef extraordinaire, Mike Fisher, of Fisher’s Restaurant.
Each month’s workshop features a different culinary theme, where participants will have the opportunity to see Mike prepare various dishes, to share and take notes on his prized recipes and to sample small plates. The 45-minute cooking demonstration will be followed by a Q&A with the chef, as well as mingling with fellow food enthusiasts. Local wines, craft beer and fountain drinks will be available for purchase.
7 pm Monday, September 10th: Happy to be Vegan- Late Harvest Vegetable Gazpacho, Fisher’s Signature Hummus, Charred Cauliflower
7 pm Monday, October 1st: Warming up to the Cold- Braised Short-Rib of Grassfed Beef, Crushed Potatoes with Local Olive Oil
7 pm Monday, November 5th: Thanksgiving Sides- Charred Brussel Sprouts with Bacon, Fisher’s Signature Green Bean Casserole, Yams that Everyone Loves
