On Wednesday, Anzar will be hosting an 8th grade parent orientation.
All 8th grade parents are welcome to attend. The program is designed for parents, not students. Students will be invited to participate in two separate later events: an introduction day in the spring, and Link Crew/freshman orientation in the summer.
The agenda includes an overview of school programs (such as the advisory program, service learning, athletics and clubs), academic and behavioral expectations, Anzar’s college-prep curriculum, and sample 9th grade schedules.
A campus tour will be held at 6 p.m. The orientation will be run by several staff members and Anzar students, giving parents an opportunity to meet teachers. There will be time to ask questions after the program is over.
