A World War I exhibit is set for an Open House in November at the Wapple House Museum in Hollister.
The exhibit’s open house is set for 1-4 p.m. Nov. 10 at the historical museum located at 498 Fifth St. in Hollister next to the San Benito County Free Library. It is a free event.
The exhibit honors the San Benito County men who served in World War I. New displays include recently acquired rare photographs of the September 21, 1917 send-off of the second group of draftees to Fort Lewis, Washington for basic training before heading to France.
