Each Thanksgiving and Christmas, volunteers with the Holte Holiday Dinners organization host meals for local residents at Sacred Heart School. The holiday dinners are planned throughout the year by a devoted group of locals who named the dinners after their founder, the late Marley Holte, who started the tradition with his wife at the time in the mid-1980s.
