Hollister fire and police officials responded Monday evening when a pedestrian reportedly fell from a vehicle on Central Avenue near the Calaveras School campus.
The Hollister Fire Department and Hollister Police Department responded to the scene around 5:30 p.m. Monday, while a Calstar helicopter responded to airlift the victim to a trauma center.
Hollister Fire Department Battalion Chief Phil Rossi noted how the department couldn’t provide much information due to privacy laws, but said it appeared as though someone “fell or exited a moving vehicle.” Hollister police did not have a report available Monday.
