Three earthquakes over 3.0 magnitude rattled the Hollister area on Tuesday morning.
The biggest was a 3.9 magnitude quake at 8:21 a.m. about nine miles south of Tres Pinos, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The other two preceded that temblor. They included a 3.5 magnitude quake at 2:34 a.m. centered in the same area and another – a 3.2 magnitude earthquake – at 2:42 a.m. in that area.
