Three candidates were out to decent leads over other candidates in the race for San Juan Bautista City Council.
There are three seats open on the San Juan Bautista council. Cesar Flores had the most votes as of the 9:30 p.m. results from the elections office.
Flores had 154 votes, or 26.32 percent Leslie Jordan had 151 votes or 25.81 percent. Mary Velazquez Edge had 134 votes or 22.91 percent. And Harold Gomes had 105 votes or 17.95 percent. There are two write-in candidates. Jacqueline Morris-Lopez had 41 votes, while Maggie Bilich had 0 votes.
