An earthquake shook the San Juan Bautista area Wednesday night.
The quake at 8:52 p.m. measured at magnitude 2.7. It was centered three miles northwest of San Juan Bautista.
The earthquake felt like two sudden jolts and lacked much of a rolling sensation.
